Assistant Professor Of Human Services And Counseling
Metropolitan State University of Denver invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position in the Department of Human Services and Counseling. This 9-month appointment begins January 2026 or August 2026, with a teaching load of 12 credit hours per semester across undergraduate and graduate programs. Responsibilities include teaching in various formats (in-person, hybrid, asynchronous), advising students, engaging in scholarly activities, and providing service to the department, university, and community. The role emphasizes expertise in mental health and addiction studies, promoting inclusive practices, and addressing inequities in clinical service delivery.
Required qualifications: Earned doctorate in Counseling Education and Supervision, current LPC credential, and a minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health and/or addiction counseling.
