Position Details
Duties Performed in the Usual Course of the Job
Teaching duties will include primarily face-to-face undergraduate content courses for elementary, middle grades, and secondary mathematics teacher programs, as well as online graduate courses in support of the MA in Mathematics.
Educational Requirements for the Position
Candidates must have a Master’s degree or equivalent in mathematics and hold a Doctorate in mathematics education.
Experience Required for the Position
Scholarly activity, teaching, and service are required. Candidates need a strong mathematics background and have evidence of a research agenda in mathematics education. In addition, a strong foundation for excelling in both face-to-face and online teaching strategies is required.
Other Requirements for the Position
K-12 teaching experience is strongly preferred.
