Position Type: Academic Clinician Track, Assistant Professor
Appointment: Full-time, non-tenure
Responsibilities
Teaching:
- Educate medical students, neurology residents, neuro-oncology fellows, nurses, and advanced practice providers
- Contribute to the academic mission with mentorship and supervision
Clinical:
- Manage patients with primary and metastatic brain tumors and neurological complications of cancer
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary Brain Tumor Program at the Abramson Cancer Center
Collaboration:
- Joint faculty appointment with Department of Neurology (Neuro-Oncology Division) and Hematology-Oncology
- Work with specialized nurses, pharmacists, and physician team
Qualifications
- M.D. or equivalent
- ABPN Board Certified in Neurology
- UCNS certification or eligibility
- Academic motivation and ability to work in a high-volume, medically complex, diverse patient population
