Princeton Theological Seminary seeks a scholar of the New Testament to serve as Assistant Professor (tenure-track) within the Biblical Studies Department. Areas of specialization are open to negotiation. Applicants are expected to have a portfolio of published research and teaching experience in the field and to hold a Ph.D. or its equivalent. The successful candidate will share responsibility for all of the Seminary’s degree programs (MDiv, MTS, MACEF, MA (hybrid), MTE, ThM, and PhD), offering required courses and a broad range of electives that conform to the Seminary's mission, the Biblical Studies Department's needs, and the appointee's research interests. The appointment is expected to commence July 1, 2026. Salary range: $83,000-93,000.
