"Assistant Professor of Nursing"

Join our dynamic, supportive and committed Nursing faculty providing classroom and clinical/laboratory instruction for our highly motivated students. This full-time, nine-month, 3-year renewable, assistant professor faculty position is integral in implementing the College’s philosophy and mission in service to our students, our community, and our health system. Primary responsibilities include teaching in the undergraduate nursing program with a focus on fundamentals and health assessment course content for the nursing curriculum, student advisement, and service engagement to the department, college, and community. Minimum qualifications include at least one graduate degree in Nursing with significant teaching experience; a doctoral degree in Nursing, Education or a related healthcare field is preferred, a minimum of two years recent direct care clinical nursing experience, competence in clinical area of teaching responsibilities, prior record of excellence in teaching, preferably in pre-licensure nursing education, a commitment to the assessment of learning outcomes, and a current, unencumbered Pennsylvania Registered Nurse license.
