Baruch College, CUNY, is seeking applicants for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the Department of Philosophy. The role involves teaching introductory-level undergraduate courses and elective courses in the applicant’s area of expertise. The candidate must have a strong research profile with an Area of Specialization in Value Theory and Area of Competence in Applied Ethics.
All CUNY employees must reside within a commutable distance to the tri-state area. Qualified candidates will have a PhD in philosophy and demonstrated teaching excellence at the post-secondary level.
Compensation ranges from $86,741 to $98,995, determined by the Deans of the Weissman School of Arts and Sciences. CUNY offers a competitive benefits package including health insurance, pension, paid parental leave, and support for research and professional development.
