Position Summary

The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado Boulder invites applications for a full-time Assistant Teaching Professor in the Finance Division, beginning Fall 2026.

The successful candidate will join a dynamic, collegial group of scholars and educators committed to excellence in teaching, curriculum innovation, and student engagement. The appointment is a multi-year contract with competitive salary and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Teach seven courses per academic year at the undergraduate and/or master’s level across the fall, spring, and summer semesters.
• Develop and deliver engaging course content and materials.
• Participate in curriculum design and collaboration with Leeds Centers and divisions.
• Contribute to the academic and professional development of students through mentoring and innovative instruction.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Economics, or a related field, or
• Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) with substantial professional accomplishments in business or finance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Finance, Economics, or related field.
• Teaching experience in undergraduate and master’s-level business programs.

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary Range: $133,000–$140,000 (100% appointment).
• Benefits: Comprehensive package including medical, dental, retirement, paid time off, tuition benefits, and ECO Pass.
