Assoc Managing Director - Epic Clinical SOM

Position Description

Assists in managing a complex area/department and has oversight responsibilities. Responsible for the development, coordination and administration of the department.

Major/Essential Functions

• Leading a team of Epic analyst responsible for designing, building, and supporting Epic applications to enhance clinical workflows and patient care.
• Bridge the gap between technical IT teams and clinical leadership
• Guide the team in resolving critical application issues and ensure all Epic configurations comply with regulatory standards
• Set and monitor performance metrics (KPIs) for team tasks, such as ticket resolution times and project deliverables.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field plus six years of progressively responsible management experience OR a combination of education and/or years of progressively responsible management experience to equal a minimum of 10 years.

Preferred Qualifications

• EPIC certification preferred.
• Training and presentation skills to educate the EHR dept and SOM clinics.
