Associate Director, Campus Operations
The Opportunity
This role offers the chance to lead and shape the delivery of campus operations and capital projects at the University of the Sunshine Coast. As Associate Director, Campus Operations, you will guide facilities management and infrastructure initiatives, ensuring our spaces are purposeful, welcoming, and aligned with the University’s strategic goals, while making a real impact on the experience of students, staff, and the wider community.
Campus Development and Services
You will
- drive the planning, management, and continuous improvement of maintenance systems and programs across all UniSC campuses, ensuring buildings, grounds, and infrastructure remain fit for purpose and future-ready.
- lead and inspire teams delivering essential campus services to create smooth, welcoming, and sustainable operations; and
- oversee the delivery of a multi-million-dollar capital program, translating strategic asset plans into high-quality, impactful infrastructure that supports the University’s growth and ambitions.

You will possess:
- Strong leadership in facilities management, capital projects, risk compliance, and sustainability initiatives.
- Proven expertise in procurement, contract development, and management across a wide range of significant assets and projects.
- Experience managing complex, organisation-wide programmes and providing strategic, expert advice.
- Demonstrated experience of leading and inspiring teams to achieve goals and deliver results.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence, build credibility, and develop strong stakeholder relationships.
- Highly developed organisational, analytical, and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt and create innovative solutions to complex challenges.
