Job Description
This tenure-track faculty position will establish and maintain a competitive translational and/or clinical research program capable of securing Federal Funding in collaboration with other researchers. This position also includes limited didactic teaching responsibilities in the PharmD program, with secondary experiential teaching responsibilities focused on inpatient Adult Medicine within the Boise VA Medical Center. There are opportunities to maintain a clinical practice within the Boise VA if desired. Potential options for new hires include: the ability to negotiate the timeline/credit for the pre-tenure probationary period, start-up package, rank, and percent time/effort dedicated to non-scholarship roles.

Key Responsibilities
- Scholarship: develop and maintain an active scholarship program commensurate with a tenure track faculty (50%).
- Teaching: didactic/course coordination/experiential teaching (25-30%).
- Service: College and University level committee work, professional service (10-15 %).
- Clinical Service: (0-15%) establish and maintain a clinical practice within an Adult Medicine or inpatient specialty area if desired.
Minimum Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE accredited Pharmacy Program.
- Completion of research fellowship training program OR advanced degree in related relevant field OR at least 3 years' experience in a relevant or healthcare setting.
- Eligibility for pharmacist licensure.
- Evidence of successful funding and publication of scholarly activity.
- US citizenship (required due to affiliation with Veteran Affairs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree (i.e., MPH, PhD, etc) and/or post-doctoral research fellowship.
- Evidence of application and funding through Federal grant programs (i.e. NIH, CDC, VHA etc.).
- Evidence of leadership and collaboration in academic and/or clinical settings.
- Experience in database oriented research or data science skills.
- Professional and graduate teaching experience.
