- Capable of teaching all courses in the Aviation Maintenance Technician Program (AMTP). Note: The teaching schedule...
- Provide the training required for AMTP students in accordance with the FAA operating procedures and guidelines.
- Provide the skills and knowledge required for competency in the field of aircraft maintenance...
- Provide an in-depth knowledge of mechanic privileges, limitations, and responsibilities...
- Perform duties associated with instruction and academic support...
- Comply with additional instructional and operational guidelines...
- Maintain accurate records...
- Participate in shared governance...
- Participate in program review...

MINIMUM DEGREE AND LICENSE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree AND two (2) years of professional experience; OR
- Associates degree AND six (6) years of professional experience.
- A valid Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe & Powerplant Certificate (Instructors must meet the FAA eligibility requirements of FAR 147.23)
- Demonstrate a sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse...

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
Salary Range $76,960 to $143,000 commensurate with academic preparation and experience. The doctoral differential is $4,870 per academic year. District benefits include health, dental and vision insurance...
