About the Position
Reporting to the Head of Service – Careers, Employability and Experiential Learning, this role delivers tailored career development and employability support to Bond University students and alumni. You’ll provide individual consultations, career counselling, and workshops, while building strong relationships with internal stakeholders and industry partners to enhance student transition from study to career.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 career consultations and counselling.
- Deliver workshops and seminars on career planning and employability.
- Develop and integrate career programs and resources into specific disciplines and subjects.
- Support students through graduate recruitment and post-study pathways.
- Collaborate with industry and promote careers events.
About the person
You are an experienced professional with a passion for supporting student career development. With strong communication skills and a client-focused approach, you thrive in delivering high-quality guidance and programs that prepare students for success.
Key Attributes:
- Degree with 2+ years’ experience in training, recruitment, or HR.
- Career counselling experience and Career Development qualifications & associated memberships or willingness to complete
- Proven ability to provide effective career planning support to diverse cohorts.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including group presentations.
- Ability to consult and advise domestic and international students on employability.
- Experience in a university or educational setting is desirable
Salary details
The salary for the position commences at $83,210.75 per annum, plus 12% superannuation.
