Brandeis University is seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Care Team Manager to serve as a critical leader in our student support infrastructure. This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a profound difference in the lives of students navigating academic, personal, and mental health challenges.
About the Role: As the Clinical Care Team Manager, you will be the primary point of contact for students of concern, leading the coordination of care for over 650 undergraduate and graduate students annually. You will serve as the Co-Chair of the Undergraduate Care Team, a key support to the Graduate Care Team, and an advisor and collaborator across campus in navigating complex student situations.
In this dynamic, high-impact role, you will:
- Lead triage and response efforts for incoming student care reports
- Provide clinical assessments, hospital outreach, and crisis intervention
- Maintain and improve systems that ensure student wellbeing and continuity of care
- Communicate regularly with students, families, faculty, and staff to coordinate support
- Advise on best practices for handling critical incidents and returning students to campus
- Contribute to institutional efforts around wellness and crisis response
What We Are Looking For: We’re seeking a compassionate, collaborative professional with: A Master’s degree in Social Work (or closely related field), 3–5 years of experience in student support, counseling, or crisis management, A background in handling mental health concerns in fast-paced, high-stress environments, The ability to lead with empathy, manage sensitive situations, and guide others through challenging circumstances, 1–3 years of supervisory experience is strongly preferred.

Additional Details: Serves as a member of the university's Administrator-on-Call rotation, Office-based position with standard physical demands, Reports to the Dean of Students, LICSW licensed in the State of MA. Hospital patient evaluation experience ideal.
