Clinical Research Psychologist
Required Qualifications (as evidenced by an attached resume): Ph.D. (or foreign equivalent) in Psychology. Two (2) years of full-time experience administering rating scales such as the HAMD, MADRS, SCID, etc. in a research setting.
Preferred Qualifications: Ten (10) years of full-time clinical experience.
Brief Description of Duties: The Clinical Research Psychologist will play a vital role in supporting brain imaging research studies within the Department of Psychiatry at the Center for Understanding Biology using Imaging Technology (CUBIT). This position involves conducting initial screenings of potential research participants and performing comprehensive psychological evaluations to determine eligibility based on strict inclusion and exclusion criteria. The Psychologist will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary research team, engaging in ongoing dialogue to ensure alignment on study goals and participant management. Additionally, the psychologist will be responsible for assessing and monitoring participant safety at the initiation of the study and throughout its duration, while maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with institutional and regulatory standards. Candidates should hold a doctoral degree (Ph.D. or Psy.D.) in Clinical Psychology or a related field, be licensed or license-eligible, and possess experience in clinical assessment and/or research settings, preferably involving neuroimaging or psychiatric populations. Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for success in this collaborative research environment.

- Perform psychologic rating assessments for research participants administering all scales as required by the grant/funding agency.
