Hobart and William Smith Colleges (HWS) invite applications for a Staff Psychologist to join our Counseling Center (CC) beginning in Fall 2025. As a JED Campus, HWS is dedicated to mental health and wellness, one of the key priorities of HWS's strategic and capital campaigns.

As a vital part of the Division of Campus Life, the CC is dedicated to building an inclusive campus community that fosters belonging for all students. We strongly encourage applications from candidates who bring diverse perspectives and backgrounds working with a variety of college student populations.

  • Consult and collaborate with campus partners to support student well-being.
  • Participate in JED Campus Initiatives.
  • Engage in case management and coordinate referrals as needed.

Other Information:

This is part-time, 10 month, non-exempt, non-benefits eligible position. Pay rate is $45.62 per hour.

  • Commitment to supporting, empowering, and retaining students from diverse backgrounds.

Why Join Us?

  • Make an Impact: Play a key role in supporting student success and well-being at HWS.
  • Collaborative Environment: Work closely with a dedicated team and campus partners.

If you're passionate about student mental health and excited to contribute to an inclusive campus community, we'd love to hear from you!
