Position Details

Reporting to the Communications & Technology Specialist, the Communications & Technology Coordinator in the Office of Admissions Coordinates efforts of admissions and/or enrollment offices.
- Coordinates workshops, intake screenings, interviews and orientations for new students
- Counsels prospective applicants on requirements and standards and provides general information on programs and services in person or by telephone, e-mail or letter; conducts follow up as needed
- Assists in conducting open house sessions and orientations, including group sessions and programs at high schools and in the community at large
- Assists with day-to-day administration and an admissions or enrollment office, including scheduling and preparing and distributing materials
- Represents the Admission Office to the college's internal and external communities as directed
- Maintains and updates program databases, lists and files to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Performs related duties as assigned.
Primary Duties
- Support the setup, configuration, and maintenance of communication platforms including CRM systems, graduate application and content management systems.
- Monitor the performance of the graduate application, identify user experience issues, and collaborate with IT to implement improvements.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation and support resources for the admissions application process, including FAQs and troubleshooting guides.
- Support the creation, formatting, scheduling, and distribution of digital communications including email campaigns and SMS messages.
- Assist in analyzing campaign and application engagement data and generate basic reports to evaluate communication effectiveness and applicant behavior.
- Help ensure smooth technical operations for recruitment events, campus visits, webinars, and virtual open houses.
- Stay current with communication and admissions technologies and suggest enhancements for outreach, application usability, and internal processes.
- Update communications and support dynamic content generation, such as PDF templates, and recommendation workflows.
- Create and maintain queries to support reporting and operational needs.
- Assist with managing user accounts, emails, data exports, and imports.
- Other duties as assigned by Associate and Assistant Directors.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
- Experience or familiarity with online admissions systems and CRMs (e.g., Slate and PeopleSoft).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Basic knowledge of digital communication tools, troubleshooting software, and web-based platforms.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to provide technical support and training to a diverse team and user base.
- Comfortable working independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation and Benefits
$61,020, salary commensurate with education and experience.
