Provides support for one or more LANS typically under the direction of a network or system manager. Provides hardware diagnosis, software support, workstation installation, and network backup.
- Provides mainframe and micro-computer software support to users.
- Monitors system usage; may provide and audit system reports.
- Diagnoses system problems; may replace system components as required.
- Backs up file server and restores data from tapes.
- Installs software upgrades.
- Installs and configures new workstations as required.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Education will be considered in lieu of experience.
MQ: Requires a basic knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation and simple mathematical functions like percentages, ratios, etc. as might normally be acquired through attainment of a high school diploma or GED. Requires a minimum of one (1) year of directly job-related experience.
