Job Summary

This role serves as a critical member of the Foundation team providing overall support to the Development function according to the direction set forth in the strategic plan. This position communicates with, engages with, and stewards donors to enhance the fundraising enterprise and help to grow the donor pipeline.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Essential Performance Requirements
? Assists in developing the strategy and overseeing the execution of TCC Foundation's signature events, traveling around the DFW metroplex, often on evenings and weekends, to prepare for and supervise events
? Conducts comprehensive event planning for complex events, including budgeting, registration, coordination, and implementation
? Ensures smooth-running, effective events, by recognizing and resolving potential and actual problems in a timely manner and managing outside consultants and vendors as needed; and coordinates post-event activities including debrief meetings, recognition to key constituents, financial reporting, and data transfer
? Supports Foundation staff in the planning and execution of smaller donor engagement and stewardship events
? Designs and implements communication strategies designed to publicize events to the general public, students, faculty, sponsors, and government representatives
? Creates and distributes annual impact reports for scholarship donors and develops content and collateral materials for distribution to donors, constituent groups, and broader reach via social media and the TCC Foundation website
? Coordinates events and outreach for the annual TCC Employee Cares Campaign in conjunction with gift officers
? Acts as a liaison between the Foundation and other College Departments, including interacting with all levels of personnel
? Assists the TCC Foundation with assigned aspects of donor management including donor interactions, spreadsheet and database maintenance, and assisting in the development, implementation and operational management of policies and procedures relating to stewardship and donor management

Service Excellence
? Participates on behalf of the College in external community organizations and associations as assigned to support the Essential Performance Requirements
? Attends the workplace regularly, reports to work punctually, and follows a work schedule to keep up with the demands of the worksite
? Completes all required training and professional development sessions sponsored through Tarrant County College (TCC)
? Supports the mission, values, goals, and principles of the College

Supervision
? Works under the general supervision of the assigned department leader

Required Minimum Qualifications

? Associate's degree and four (4) years' working experience related to the Essential Performance Requirements; or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
? Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving history and reliable transportation

Preferred Qualifications

? At least one (1) year's working experience with Blackbaud Award Management or similar platform
? At least one (1) year's working experience with scholarship processing and awarding

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

? Knowledge of effective donor engagement best practices
? Knowledge of donor communications within multiple platforms including email, social media, and direct mail
? Knowledge of project management, time management and organizing deadlines
? Skilled using applications and enterprise systems, including word processing, and presentation software; and especially skilled using spreadsheets to manipulate data
? Skilled in communicating with others at all levels and excellent customer service and interpersonal relationships
? Ability work with minimal supervision
? Ability to think critically to effectively solve and communicate problems in a fast-paced environment where the demands for work are varied, and unpredictable in scope and volume
? Ability to analyze data and provide sound recommendations based on policy, procedure, practice, and existing regulations
? Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand, walk, and climb or balance. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment
The work environment characteristics described here are representatives of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts and is occasionally exposed to risk of electrical shock. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet.

Compensation Details

Starting Pay - $55,700; Commensurate with education and experience

Work Hours

Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Flexibility is required, as occasional evening and weekend hours may be necessary based on department needs
