Coordinator for Student Programs (01444A)
The responsibilities for this position would focus on the overall student experience in the PHC living-learning community – including a first-year experience, regular programming for community-building, and orientation events. This is integral to the mission of the College. The position will design and coordinate a variety of programs and events that promote community, engagement, and personal development among Honors students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Considerable knowledge of effective customer service and problem resolution techniques.
- Demonstrated ability to build rapport with prospects, students, and customers and to provide timely, accurate information.
- Considerable experience in student affairs, event management, student success, or related areas.
Additional Considerations (supplemental knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience, licensure, certification)
- Considerable experience working with high-achieving student populations in a university setting.
- Familiarity with event management software and student engagement platforms.
- Considerable experience designing programs that facilitate first-year transition and community integration.
- Considerable experience supporting new student onboarding, orientation, or transition programs.
- Understanding of student development theories and engagement models.
