Job Description

• Manages data integration to issue immigration documents for scholars and students. Coordinates with departments to collect required documentation, verify arrivals, conduct orientations, and assist in maintaining records for international faculty hiring processes.
• Manages immigration data processing and SEVIS submissions. Collaborates to ensure accurate data transactions. Serves as Designated School Official (DSO) and Alternate Responsible Officer (ARO), advising faculty scholars and students on immigration processes.
• Compiles, tracks, and analyzes international student and scholar data for government reporting. Maintains academic program classification codes to ensure compliance. Updates and manages immigration information in accordance with University standards.
• Assists leadership with other initiatives and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Short Job Description)

• Associate's degree or two years' college coursework in a related field from an accredited institution.
• Two year's relevant experience.
• Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with word-processing and spreadsheet software.
• Experience with using and querying databases.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident to meet the federal requirements to serve as a Designated School Official (for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security) and Alternate Responsible Officer (for the U.S. Department of State).
• Ability to pass routine background checks to maintain DSO and ARO authorization assigned by the Department of Homeland Security and Department of State.
