Job Description
Our ABA program is designed for students seeking their BCBA credential. To be eligible for the BCBA credential, candidates must hold a graduate (Masters) degree, complete the requisite ABA coursework, and accrue supervised fieldwork hours.
The School of Education & Human Development will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers for future appointments to temporary, part time, non-tenure-track positions in the Applied Behavior Analysis Program.

What you will do:
- The ABA program instructor is a leader in the field of Applied Behavior Analysis, and has a history of behavior-analytic teaching, clinical work, and/or research.
- This role requires experience designing and implementing instruction for graduate students with diverse experiences related to the practice of behavior analysis.
Qualifications you already possess (Minimum Qualifications)
- Earned master's degree or higher in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related field
- Certified BCBA (via the Behavior Analyst Certification Board) - current
- Teaching experience (at the undergraduate or graduate level)
Preferred Qualifications
- Doctorate in Special Education, Psychology, Applied Behavior Analysis or related field
- Experience working with culturally minoritized children's families in schools or clinical settings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Ethical and professional conduct considerations required for practicing ABA.
- Commitment to social justice and conceptualizing the ABA practitioner as an advocate
- Evidence of understanding of mental health professions that serve clients with special needs.
- Evidence of knowledge of collecting and interpreting data as well as the importance of making data-driven decisions specifically for ABA.
Conditions of Employment
This position will teach online courses, each course will have a 1x/week required zoom class meeting. Class times are generally between 6-8pm (MT) but may vary slightly based on instructor availability. This position is fully remote, and the candidate can work anywhere in the United States.
Mental, Physical, and/or Environmental Requirements
The ability to sit for extended periods, stand and walk occasionally, reach with hands and arms, use hands to manipulate a keyboard and mouse, and have good near vision for computer work; often requiring minimal lifting, but may involve bending or reaching to retrieve items from shelves or drawers.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range for this position has been established at $5,000 for a fully enrolled course.
