CSH Adjunct Faculty - Physics and Astrophysics

The Physics and Astrophysics Department invites expressions of interest in part-time faculty teaching opportunities for the 2025-2026 Academic year within the following areas:

1. Teaching algebra based first year sequence
2. Teaching physics to the non-science students
3. Teaching basic electronics courses to non-physics majors

Preference given to persons experienced in using PER methods.

In order to best serve the students, part-time faculty are expected to perform all duties and responsibilities of a faculty member that are commensurate and consistent with the faculty member's qualifications and the best interests of DePaul University.

Qualifications:

PhD or Masters in subject area to be taught is required.

Salary Information:

The anticipated hiring rate of this position is between $4,200 and $5,600 per course, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
