Job Description Summary
The University of Pennsylvania is a national leader in advancing knowledge of the basic immunology of inflammation, autoimmunity, cancer, transplantation, and infection. Within Penn, the newly created Institute for Immunology and Immune Health (I3H) aims to bring together fundamental immunology and translational research with computational infrastructure to scale and integrate immunological knowledge into the electronic medical record.
I3H is seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our multi-disciplinary team. Under the supervision of a Senior Data Analyst, and in collaboration with other programmers, immunologists and technicians, the employee will develop, maintain and deploy analysis pipelines that produce actionable insights from the large-scale datasets generated by the Institute. Prior experience with immunology assays such as single-cell cytometry is not required, but it is expected that familiarity and fluency with these data modalities and their biological interpretation will be developed over time.
