Digital Channel Production Specialist 2
Establishes strategies, schedules, and management plans to produce videos and digital content including Origins videos, department spotlight videos and online lecture videos. Coordinates video studio appointments and, at times, serves as videographer at live presentations. Gathers b-roll footage and other necessary video elements, edits and produces videos and digital history projects. Manages digital signage and creates original animations.
Manages and creates content for the Department of History websites. Supports department faculty, staff and students in the use of college and university web platforms. Manages student staff. Coordinates with college and external programming groups to resolve problems. Oversees content development, site building, and custom programming work. Manages department's eLearning projects as directed by supervisor, department Chair or by ASCTech. Manages department's social media accounts and provides end user support for department's technology enhanced meeting spaces, video conferences and other mediated events. Periodically develops Goldberg Center digital media internships for History 3191 and supervises interns in conjunction with the Director. Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education Required
Bachelor's Level Degree in computer & information science, communications or similar, or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Qualifications
Required: A minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience in managing websites and developing content for websites; experience with video editing and production; experience with editing videos for online courses.
Desired: Experience using a web publishing platform or content management system to manage websites. Experience with project management techniques and tools. Strong oral and written communication skills. Understanding of HTML and CSS. Experience with internet search engines and web site marketing methodologies. Experience using social media accounts like Facebook, Google+, Pinterest, Threads, and Instagram to promote an organization and/or its programs. Comfort using presentation technologies (e.g., projectors, room presentation systems) and internet videoconferencing tools (e.g., Teams, Zoom, etc.). Familiarity with online course design or delivery.

The pay range for this job profile is $58,700 - $77,200. The offer for this position will fall within this range based on internal equity, unit's available budget, and the candidate's qualifications.
