JOB PURPOSE
The Hoover Institution Library & Archives (L&A) seeks a Digital Publisher to lead a shift from whole-collection digitization to targeted, high-value digital publishing. In year one, the Digital Publisher will lead the program to publish at least 200,000 images and scale output annually... Reporting to the Director...

- Perform the full range of project management cycle...
- Direct development of an action plan...
- Facilitate discussions and negotiations...
- Develop and help execute comprehensive change management strategy...

- Serve as project manager, accountable for achieving publication of at least 200,000 images in year one...
- Has final decision-making authority on digitization policies...
- Plan and manage outsourced digitization...
- Manage the intake and prioritization of digitization requests...
- Partner with Library Systems & Technology...
- Understand and integrate born-digital material...
- Coordinate with external reformatting partners...
- Track and share key measures...
- After year one, lead a plain-language review...
- Communicate regularly and transparently across units...
- Identify bottlenecks...
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field and five years relevant experience or a combination of education and experience. Experience in management of projects with extensive size/complexity...

WORKING CONDITIONS

The expected pay range for this position is $157,651-$180,377 per annum.
