Are you passionate about civic engagement and preparing the next generation of globally engaged citizens? The American Association of State Colleges and Universities (AASCU) is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director to lead one of its flagship initiatives—the American Democracy Project (ADP).

For over two decades, ADP has empowered state colleges and universities to foster informed, active citizens who embrace diverse perspectives. As Director, you will be at the forefront of this mission, guiding the vision, strategy, and execution of ADP programming across AASCU member campuses.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the planning, coordination, and implementation of ADP initiatives.
• Collaborate across the Division of Academic Innovation and Transformation to support member institutions in advancing civic and global engagement.
• Oversee civic engagement programming for AASCU and ADP campuses, working closely with the Assistant Vice President to shape strategic direction.
• Build and maintain relationships with member campuses, external partners, funders, and sponsors to expand the ADP network and impact.
• Manage convenings and events, including webinars, virtual and in-person meetings, and newsletters, ensuring high-quality execution and alignment with program goals.
• Supervise contractors and project teams, providing leadership and oversight on a project-by-project basis.
