Job Summary
Auburn Athletics is hiring a Director of Athletic Creative Video and NIL Content to join their War Eagle Creative team!
The individual in this position provides strategic and creative leadership for all Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) video storytelling initiatives while also serving as a lead producer for in venue video content. This role is designed for a senior-level creative leader who can balance high-level strategy with hands-on production, ensuring Auburn Athletics' NIL efforts and live fan experiences are visually compelling, brand aligned, and innovative. This position plays a critical role in supporting student-athlete brand development, institutional NIL strategy, and game-day atmosphere.
Essential Functions
- Serves as the lead creative video producer for all NIL-related initiatives, including student-athlete brand storytelling, NIL collectives, partnerships, and promotional campaigns.
- Develops and executes a comprehensive NIL video content strategy in collaboration with NIL leadership, marketing, communications, and external partners.
- Maintains awareness of evolving NIL trends, digital platforms, and creative best practices to keep Auburn at the forefront of NIL storytelling.
- Ensures all NIL video content aligns with Auburn Athletics' brand standards while remaining flexible to individual athlete identity and storytelling needs.
- Leads the creative production, and execution of in-venue intro, hype, and presentation videos for assigned sports and marquee events.
- Collaborates closely with the Fan Experience and War Eagle Productions teams to ensure seamless integration of video content into the live game-day environment.
- Assists in the recruitment, onboarding, scheduling, and development of undergraduate interns and graduate assistants within the creative video program.
- Assists in managing department organization of equipment, file storage, and media asset workflows.
- Supports the Assistant AD of Creative Video with department-wide initiatives, cross-sport collaboration, and strategic planning as needed.
- Complies with all applicable National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and Southeastern Conference (SEC) regulations in the performance of job duties.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
May be required to work nights and weekends.

Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 5 years of experience in television or video production services
Minimum Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency in video editing and post-production, with expert-level skill in Adobe Premiere Pro and working familiarity with After Effects, Photoshop, and related Creative Cloud applications.
- Demonstrated experience in camera operation, including mirrorless/cinema cameras, with foundational knowledge of lighting, audio, and composition principles.
- Strong visual storytelling ability with an understanding of pacing, mood, and narrative structure in sports-specific content.
- Prior experience producing video content in a collegiate or professional athletics environment, with familiarity in both team brand-building and recruiting media.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Understanding of social media platforms and content strategy, particularly related to short-form video and audience engagement.
- Experience working in cross-functional creative teams, including positive collaboration with communications, marketing, and live production units.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail in asset management, workflow, and content delivery.

- Degree in Communications, Radio Television and Film, Broadcast Journalism, Engineering, or related field is desired.
Salary Range: $53,760 - $91,400
