"Early Childhood Studies Instructor (Part-Time Faculty Pool)"

Ohlone College is seeking a pool of qualified applicants for temporary part-time teaching assignments in Early Childhood Studies. Assignments may include day, evening, and weekend courses, and may be in-person, online, or hybrid.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Teach Early Childhood Studies according to established course outlines.
• Evaluate student work using clear criteria and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain and submit accurate records such as grades, syllabi, and attendance reports.
• Create an equity-based and welcoming classroom environment.
• Perform duties as described in Board policy, faculty contract, and Faculty Handbook at designated locations.

Minimum Qualifications: Master's in child development, early childhood education, human development, home economics/family and consumer studies with a specialization in child development/early childhood education, or educational psychology with a specialization in child development/early childhood education; OR Bachelor's in any of the above AND Master's in social work, educational supervision, elementary education, special education, psychology, bilingual/bicultural education, life management/home economics, family life studies, or family and consumer studies; OR the equivalent.
