About the Role
Are you a highly organised professional who enjoys keeping projects, people and processes running smoothly?
Join the Education Innovation Exchange (EIX) team and play a key role in supporting initiatives that enhance learning and teaching across the University.
As the EIX Operations Support Officer, you will provide essential operational and administrative support that enables the successful delivery of EIX initiatives. Working across a variety of activities – from project coordination and professional learning programs to internal events and academic program administration – you’ll help ensure everything runs efficiently behind the scenes.
This is a dynamic role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys collaborating with a range of stakeholders and takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
Reporting to the EIX Learning and Development Lead, you will work closely with colleagues across EIX to support the coordination and delivery of initiatives that advance innovative learning and teaching practices.
In this varied role you will:
- Coordinating administrative and operational processes that support EIX projects and initiatives
- Assisting with the delivery of professional learning activities and internal events
- Supporting the administration of academic programs owned and delivered by EIX
- Providing project coordination and organisational support across the team
- Building positive relationships with academic and professional staff across the University
- Contributing to continuous improvement of processes and services
- Supporting data collection and reporting to inform decision-making

About You
You’re organised, proactive and enjoy working in a collaborative environment where you can support multiple activities at once.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- The ability to take initiative and manage tasks in a busy and varied environment
- Experience working in higher education or a large, complex organisation (desirable)
- The ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively
- Experience using data to support decision-making
- Experience using Canvas LMS or similar learning management systems
Qualifications
- Completion of a degree without subsequent work experience; or
- An equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
