Evaluator-Transfer Admissions
Evaluate student records from other institutions primarily to determine applicability of transfer course work and, as needed, to determine transfer admission eligibility.
Furthermore, the incumbent provides services that are equitable, inclusive, and culturally sensitive to enhance the quality of campus life. This position uses a student-centered and equity-minded approach in all communication and service efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluation of Student Academic Records: Review file to verify all documents have been received by utilizing PeopleSoft and imaging software.
- Interpret Academic Policy and Provide Information: Determine transferability of courses not taken at CSULB utilizing PeopleSoft, imaging software, and other articulation tools.
- Maintenance of Resource Materials: Organize and keep current reference materials, including policies and procedures.
