Exams Administrator (Casual Staff)
The Exam Operations team are looking to recruit a conscientious team player who will contribute to our continuing success.
The Team
The Exam Operations team sit within the Student Administration section of Education Services, supporting the academic purposes of the University, and provides expert administrative support and advice to the University and Colleges relating to operational delivery of exams and reasonable adjustments for undergraduate and taught postgraduate courses. It also manages the administration of mitigating circumstances and allowances for undergraduate and taught postgraduate students.
About the Role
This role has been introduced to have a key focus on the delivery of exam casual staff throughout the year. The exams services recruits approximately 350 casual staff each year to support exam delivery. This role focuses on the recruitment, appointment, operational management and allocation of these staff, as well as supporting with their training and induction. The core casual staff team includes exam supervisors, invigilators, attendants, digital exam technicians, couriers and script sorters.
The role will collaborate closely with colleagues across the Exam Operations team and the Student Services HR team to ensure smooth exam delivery. Whilst there are exams that take place throughout the year, outside of peak times the role holder will assist with other aspects of exam delivery.
