Job Summary
The Executive Search Specialist is a professional who serves as a critical component of the organization's executive search function. This position has the responsibility of carrying out a variety of tasks related to the administration of executive recruitment and is an integral member of the Executive Search Team.
Responsibilities
- Job Opening Maintenance: Creates job openings and screening evaluation rubrics by evaluating the position description. Screens and responds to CVs/resumes, collects Search Committee participants, and verifies Best Hiring Practice training.
- Survey Management: Generates and distributes Qualtrics surveys to obtain interviewers' assessments of candidates.
- Invoice Maintenance: Reviews and presents invoices for payment from vendors and visiting candidates, ensures detailed documentation, and maintains accurate spreadsheets.
- Applicant Maintenance: Ensures all applicants are entered in the OneUSG database, works with Search Firm if applicable, and updates applicant disposition codes.
- Scheduling: Assists with scheduling search committee meetings, composes search committee photo rosters.
- File Maintenance: Ensures proper and complete executive search recruitment files and secures them appropriately.
- Additional Duties: Maintains Executive Search email and webpage, assists with escorting candidates during campus visits.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED and three years of relevant HR experience, or Bachelor’s degree and one year of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and experience in Human Resources and/or higher education.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
Abilities: Ability to express self in writing and verbally, analyze and interpret issues, and maintain confidentiality.
Skills: Proficient with Word and Excel; strong customer service, organizational, interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills; professional demeanor, objectivity, and ability to prioritize workload.
Shift/Salary/Benefits
Shift: Days/M-F (work outside normal hours may be required). Pay Grade: B7. Salary Minimum: $42,200.00/year. Benefits include health insurance, retirement, vacation, sick leave, and holidays.
