- Remuneration: $161,241 to $168,919 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $136,251 to $142,738 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Faculty Finance Manager to join Faculty Operations, Faculty of Business and Law.
The Faculty Finance Manager is responsible for the provision of financial management advice and services across a client portfolio, supporting the achievement of client business and service delivery objectives. The role delivers sound financial analysis and provides advice to senior leaders to inform periodic financial planning budgeting, costing, forecasting, monitoring, and reporting. The Faculty Finance Manager will provide support and guidance on complex financial issues and identify opportunities to continuously improve team performance and build capability that is aligned to current and future client needs and service delivery requirements.

What you need to succeed
- Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to postgraduate qualifications in finance or a related business discipline and extensive relevant experience with ongoing professional development equivalent to CPA or Chartered Accountant.
- Financial management skills in developing, reviewing and analysing complex budgets, using a range of corporate financial systems, and with demonstrated experience in applying financial governance principles., best practice frameworks and contributing to business case development to influence significant decisions.
- Highly developed communication skills and a demonstrated ability to collaborate, influence and negotiate, and build and maintain relationships with leaders to achieve business outcomes.
- Proven effective leadership, management and supervisory skills that drive teamwork, high performance, and excellence in service provision
- Demonstrated ability to problem solve complex issues and to critically evaluate processes and contribute to a high-performance culture.
- Demonstrated ability to identify opportunities to lead with digital technologies and data to drive outcomes, including highly developed diagnostic and analytical skills with the capacity to adapt to changing environments and inform business decisions.
- Demonstrated expertise in the use of information technology and financial systems such as Microsoft Office Suite and Oracle packages, together with experience in the research and analysis of information to formulate recommendations and reports to management.
- Demonstrated high level of business acumen, leadership and proven results in a complex business financial environment whilst working under pressure.
