"Fall Adjunct Faculty (Music-Mariachi)"

The Department of Fine & Performing Arts seeks to establish a pool of qualified applicants for future, part-time Adjunct Faculty appointments in Music. Successful applicants may teach up to nine semester credit hours within the required discipline at on campus sites or online as dictated by student demand, hold office hours, and assist students as needed.

Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in music and evidence of successful teaching Mariachi music in college or public school.

Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of experience teaching in Mariachi music or directing (conducting) a Mariachi program/ensemble.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to teach undergraduate college music students applied lessons at all levels. Ability to lead a Mariachi program/ensemble.

Other information: Adjunct Faculty positions are temporary appointments, assigned per semester and on an as-needed basis. These temporary appointments are for the Fall 2025 and any Fall 2025 Sub-Terms. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position(s) filled.
