Federal Work Study - Comprehensive Community Clinic Student Assistant
Job Summary
Provide quality customer service to all CCC visitors. Assisting student/clients/families at the CCC front desk by answering questions on phone or in person. Assisting with various duties including filing, scanning, copying, stocking supplies, cleaning and organizing therapy and resource rooms, etc. Assisting with the various types of technology used in the CCC. This position requires the candidate to have Federal Work Study eligibility.
Required Qualifications
Must be a current University of West Georgia student enrolled in a minimum of six credit hours and maintaining at least a 2.0 cumulative grade-point average. Must possess good written and verbal communication skills, be punctual, detail-oriented, and have a professional demeanor. Must be able to meet our needed schedule with some evening hours. This position requires the availability to work Tuesday and Thursday nights from 4:30 to 7:30 due to services scheduled in the CCC. Must sign a Confidentiality Agreement due to the private nature of information in the clinic. Must be a College of Education or Speech major.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior office/clerical experience with computer skills helpful.
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift 25 pounds. Stand and walk for extended periods of time.
