"Gynecologic Oncology Physician Scientist - Tenure Track"

The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health is searching for a Gynecologic Oncologist Physician Scientist to join the thriving Division of Gynecologic Oncology. Be part of a busy, productive team of nine faculty physicians, two PhD research faculty, and six advanced practice providers.

Depending upon research scope, the candidate may also have a secondary appointment in the Division of Reproductive Sciences which has seven PhD faculty with research expertise in endocrinology, immunology, embryology and reproductive health. The candidate is also given membership to the NCI-designated University of Wisconsin Carbone Cancer Center and will have access to its many shared resources.

The University of Wisconsin Gynecologic Oncology program strives to be among the nation’s best, serving gynecologic cancer patients in Wisconsin and beyond. The Gynecologic Oncology Physician Scientist will expand an already established foundational and/or translational research program to complement the department's strength in the areas of gynecologic cancer and cancer prevention. As a faculty member at an academic medical institution, the successful candidate will teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows.
