With around 80 buildings, including Grade II listed structures and modern facilities, the department ensures a safe, sustainable, and high-quality environment for students, staff, and visitors. It plays a vital role in strategic estate planning, facilities management, and health and safety compliance, supporting the university’s commitment to excellence in teaching, learning, and research.

About the Role: The Head of Health and Safety will provide strategic leadership, ensuring Goldsmiths’ compliance with health and safety regulations while fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Reporting to the Deputy Director of Estates and Facilities, the role involves policy development, risk management, and stakeholder engagement to maintain a safe and sustainable university environment.
