HR Policy Advisor
Job Summary: As an HR Policy Advisor at Universiteiten van Nederland (UNL), you will contribute to the organization as a modern employers' association. You will be part of a small HR team responsible for maintaining and renewing the sector collective labor agreement (CAO), maintaining contacts with partners and implementation agencies, and supporting joint HR consultations among universities.
Responsibilities: Develop and maintain HR policy areas including CAO/employment conditions, social security and pensions, social safety, job classification, diversity and inclusion, international labor mobility, and working conditions; contribute to the CAO process; answer questions from members and CAO followers; participate in meetings with ministries, government sectors, and other stakeholders; guide HR consultations and working groups in the sector.
Qualifications and Requirements: Academic work and thinking level; at least 4 years of relevant work experience; policy experience; well-developed legal judgment; ability to clearly articulate complex matters; strong networking skills; sensitivity to political and administrative relations and your role within them; actively develop yourself, be open to feedback, prioritize tasks, work project-based, and function independently.
What the Employer Offers: A versatile position in a dynamic organization with investment in employees; a one-year contract for 32 hours per week, potentially leading to a permanent position; salary in scale 11 or 12 (depending on experience) according to the CAO Nederlandse Universiteiten; located in central Den Haag with a modern and flexible office concept.
