MSC Range 10; Full-time/Exempt; 40 hours per week; 12 months per year

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
The position of Human Resources Academic Analyst is an integral member of the Human Resources Team and is assigned to support faculty with their associated human resources processes. Critical to this role is the ability to develop collegial working relationships with faculty, stakeholder groups, and administrators from across the college. Attention to detail is crucial to the work of this position. Key responsibilities of this position include issuing faculty contracts, providing recommendations on starting salaries, conducting or participating in new hire orientations, and providing support and interpretation to department chairs, Deans, and others for two faculty collective bargaining agreements.
We expect that there will be a learning curve for the successful candidate related to certain aspects of the job, some of which may take place on an annual basis, and we have internal resources to support you as you learn this position. Work Schedule
The work schedule is Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Over the summer the schedule changes to Monday through Thursday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with Friday off. As an exempt position, hours may vary based on departmental needs.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree or the equivalent*;
- Three (3) years of work experience related to the Representative Duties of this classification.
- A valid California Drivers License maintained throughout duration of employment with the District.
* Associates Degree education equivalency equals two (2) years of increasingly responsible experience for each full year (24-30 units) of college
