Job Description
This position will conduct strategic analysis, including due diligence, and recommendations, for technology and business development projects for I-CCEW.
Essential Duties:
- Maintains files indicating student progress, letters of recommendations, transcripts, etc., as required
- Assists students and residents by providing information pertaining to lectures, exams, national board exams, financial aid, textbook procurement, etc.
- Interfaces with Student Services in matters concerning grades, transcripts, and student status
- Interfaces with faculty and/or staff while representing the department in order to explain the program, gather information needed to facilitate scheduling, etc.
- Performs various duties as needed to successfully fulfill the function of the position
- Assist program Directors in executing special student focused special events including: CCEW speaker series, final presentation, conferences, annual alumni events
- Assist program Directors in the conduct of all I-CCEW state-wide community programs, including international exchange programs, OKCoders, Wondergrants, the Mine program
- Mentor teams of I-CCEW interns and the student team leaders across all the I-CCEW statewide programs, with specific responsibilities for fielding Entrepreneurial "Boot Camps" for incoming I-CCEW interns and fellows, OU faculty inventors, external business clients, and mentors across all the consulting programs across the state-wide programs
- Contribute to I-CCEW strategic planning sessions that cover existing state-wide programs growth and develop new programs as needed in the community
- Assist Program Directors with evaluation and identification/selection of future team leaders, and performance and development of interns and fellows across the statewide programs
- Drive business development for startup activity and projects for I-CCEW teams at the, by facilitating I-CCEW and OU startup relationships to enhance university services to and in support of commercial startup efforts
Job Requirements
Required Education: High School diploma or GED, AND: 12 months of office and clerical experience
Skills:
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
- Ability to accurately read and understand written materials and instructions
- General office skills such as phone, copying, faxing, filing, and handling mail
Advertised Physical Requirements:
- Physical: Ability to engage in repetitive motion and communicate effectively
- Environmental: Standard office environment
Departmental Preferences: Strong preference for candidates who are already familiar with the I-CCEW Program
