  • Full-time, Ongoing position at HEW Level 6
  • Parramatta City or Penrith campus location preferred, with travel required 
  • Salary: $95,777 - $102,659 per annum, plus Superannuation and Leave Loading

Support student success by developing and maintaining high-quality industry partnerships that enhance Work Integrated Learning (WIL) opportunities and strengthen graduate career pathways.

The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of education and industry, supporting meaningful partnerships that enhance student learning and employability outcomes. As the Industry Liaison Officer, you will play a key role in supporting Work Integrated Learning (WIL) and industry engagement activities across the Faculty of Engineering, Computing and Science, working closely with academic and professional colleagues as well as industry partners. The role offers exposure to a diverse portfolio of engagement activities and the chance to contribute to initiatives that directly support student success and graduate career pathways.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Strong, collaborative relationships are established and maintained with industry partners and internal stakeholders.
  • WIL and industry engagement activities are supported in a responsive, organised, and professional manner.
  • Accurate records and well-maintained databases enable effective reporting, planning, and decision-making.

About You

  • Degree with relevant experience or extensive experience in industry liaison, preferably within STEM
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills
  • High-level competence in managing databases and digital systems
  • Excellent written and verbal communication, with experience presenting to varied audiences
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a complex environment
