Foothill College is seeking a full-time, tenure-track Health Instructor to join our Health Sciences and Horticulture division beginning fall 2026.

Primary Responsibilities

• Teach a full-time load of Health courses
• Teach in a variety of modalities, including face-to-face, hybrid, and online formats
• Develop and revise curriculum
• Assess student learning outcomes
• Participate in department meetings, college governance, program review, and professional development
• May oversee the Community Health Worker Program

Minimum Qualifications

• Understanding of, sensitivity to, and respect for the diverse academic, socio-economic, ethnic, religious, and cultural backgrounds, disability, and sexual orientation of community college students, faculty and staff.
• Master's degree in Health Science, Health Education, Public Health, or a closely related field OR Bachelor's degree in Health Science or a related field AND a Master's degree in a related discipline
