Primary Purpose of the Position:
The IT Client Support Professional, provides first-line technical support to end-users by diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and password issues. This role requires excellent problem-solving skills, strong communication abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service. Provides basic on-site training to users. Maintain and support a customer service-friendly Service Desk that provides tier-one computer and credential support to clients by phone, e-mail, live help (online chat), or in person.

The IT Client Support Professional works both independently and collaboratively with other team members to accomplish the objectives stated above. Provides excellent customer service and experiences to the campus community - faculty, staff, students, guests, and visitors.

Preferred Years Experience,Skills, Training , Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, Information Systems, Management Information System or related field
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, or Microsoft certifications
  • Experience with workstation hardware types such as Dell, HP, Apple setup and configuration
  • Strong organizational skills
