IT Manager in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref: 534477) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance)Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or above in information technology, computer science or related disciplines, preferably at least 3-5 years’ work experience in Information Technology (IT) and/or an education institute; OR a diploma plus 6-8 years’ experience with a high degree of technical specialization. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, good interpersonal skills, self-motivation, a strong sense of responsibility, and the ability to manage IT staff to provide high-quality service to the Department. The appointee will provide day-to-day IT Management with project planning, ordering, implementation, maintenance and support for the Department, including teaching, research, practical laboratories, research teams and general office. He/She should be keen on file, application and streaming server management/maintenance for department and research teams. He/She has to provide teaching support on eLearning platform (such as Moodle, Turnitin, Interactive platforms, management & maintenance applications), I.T. solution and support on exam, interviews and video recordings management & maintenance. The appointee will also be responsible for the implementation of ISDM (Information Security & Data Management), DLP installation, and managing and supporting the tools and software for data privacy management.A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.The University only accepts online application for the above post.
