JOB SUMMARY:

Continue to support the wrap-up and closing-out paperwork of the DOE-sponsored project entitled "Understanding Human Factors to Develop Technologies to Improve User Acceptance of Pooled Rideshare for Increasing Transportation System Energy Efficiency".

JOB DUTIES:

30% - Essential - Conduct simulation and optimization work for pooled rideshare transportation systems in the POLARIS simulation software.

60% - Essential - Conduct closing-out paperwork of the DOE pooled rideshare project including different report preparation, data packaging, code packaging, and other closing-out related work.

10% - Essential - Attend project meetings for coordination and reporting within Clemson and with the DOE program managers.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education - High School or Equivalent

Work Experience - 1+ years

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Education - 1st Doctoral / Professional Degree

RESPONSIBILITIES

Fundamental Job Knowledge - Fundamental working knowledge of concepts, practices and procedures and ability to apply in varied situations

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Supervisory Duties - Not responsible for supervising employees.

BUDGETARY RESPONSIBILITIES

No Budget Responsibilities - No fiscal responsibility for the department's budget.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Standard Hours: 20

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

Expected Pay Range: $14,050 - $22,850

Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.
