Job Description
SUNY Oneonta is seeking a dynamic and creative person to serve as LEAD@Oneonta Coordinator (Student Activities Associate). LEAD stands for Leadership, Education, and Development, values that will be central to your role as you coordinate a unique campus-wide leadership program focused on the three E's: education, events, and experiential learning. As Coordinator, you will help students grow intellectually, thrive socially, and live purposefully by overseeing leadership initiatives, planning engaging programs, and supporting student organizations. You will also assist with major campus events and collaborate with the Office of Student Life and Leadership to create meaningful experiences that prepare students for life beyond the university.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Coordinate and assess the LEAD@Oneonta program in a manner that helps students grow intellectually, thrive socially, and live purposefully.
- Coordinate and assess Hunt Union leadership programs including the Leader's Lunch program, the Harvey Delaney Leadership Institute, and the E-board Training Academy in conjunction with the Office of Student Experiences.
- Lead the planning, execution, and evaluation of the biannual club eXpo to promote student involvement.
- Review and approve events requesting LEAD credit. Encourage the inclusion of LEAD credit in additional events where suitable.
- Provide training and support in usage of Anthology Engage for all clubs and organizations, including Fraternities and Sororities.
- Assist in development and planning of large campus events and provide event coverage in coordination with other members of the Office of Student Life and Leadership.
- Develop programming that ties LEAD@Oneonta student learning outcomes with the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE) Competencies.
- Provide resources to club advisors and support to university registered organizations.
Salary:

Requirements
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Participated in or administered a comprehensive student leadership program.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Served as a student leader outside of the classroom.
- Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
- Familiarity with Anthology Engage or other student organization management platforms.
Preferred:
- Experience with D2L Brightspace.
- Familiarity with the NACE Competencies for Career Readiness.
- One to three years of professional experience in student activities or university and student centers.
- Experience working with diverse populations/formal training in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion.
- Completion of a higher education leadership program.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related software.
