Description: The Construction Management Program in the Cullen College of Engineering invites applications for part-time, non-tenure track, Lecturer positions to teach one or more undergraduate and/or graduate courses. Most instruction is in person on UH’s main campus in Houston and may include daytime or evening sections, depending on program needs. Instructors are sought for one or more of the following areas:

• Estimating
• Scheduling / Project Controls
• Contracts & Construction Law
• Construction Management (core topics)
• Projects Development and Bidding
• Other closely related topics in construction practice

Successful candidates will engage undergraduate students through dynamic instruction, group-based learning, and interactive planning activities, fostering both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience.Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment and will be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check. Individuals conducting research in critical infrastructure areas (i.e., communication infrastructure systems, cybersecurity systems, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment systems, and/or water treatment facilities) are subject to regular review to ensure the security and integrity of the research is maintained.
