Lecturer of Accounting
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Accounting in the School of Accountancy with a preferred start date of January 1, 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teaching undergraduate courses in the area of accounting
- Quality service and other intellectual contribution components is expected
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree or higher, or the foreign equivalent, in accounting, tax, or other accounting related field from an AACSB accredited institution is required at the time of hire
- OR a minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a non-related discipline with at least 18 graduate credit hours in the teaching discipline is required at the time of hire AND a current professional certification in accounting (e.g., CPA, CIA, CMA) together with at least five (5) years relevant business experience (financial/managerial accounting/auditing, etc.)
