Lecturer of Architecture
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, faculty position as Lecturer of Architecture in the Department of Architecture with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position. This position is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teach Design Studios in the professional B.Arch program
- Participate in department, college, and/or university service activities
- Collaborate with students and colleagues and contribute to a positive and productive academic environment
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in Architecture at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- PhD, or the foreign equivalent, in Architecture or a closely related discipline
- Architecture licensure/registration
- A record of successful teaching in Architecture Studio
- Record of professional architecture practice
