Job Summary
Kennesaw State University is now accepting applications for a full-time, non-tenure track faculty position as Lecturer of Physics in the Department of Physics with a preferred start date of August 2026. This is a nine-month contracted position and is for work to be performed in the state of Georgia.
Responsibilities
- Teach calculus and non-calculus based introductory physics lectures, recitations, and laboratories.
- Service to the department, college or university related to instruction, pedagogy, and/or student success.
Teaching assignments will be based on earned degrees and SACSCOC Faculty Credentials Guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of a Master's degree, or the foreign equivalent, in a discipline related to Physics or a closely related discipline is required at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with current evidence-based instructional practices.
- Experience teaching online or hybrid courses.
